Vision
The Altus Institute was developed with two major goals in mind, both centered on promoting educational environments where students come first.
Goals
Altus Institute will develop, support, fund and promote programs and research that:
- Improve the conditions for optimum student learning by creating environments that engage students in the learning process.
- Foster and encourage individual scholastic and occupational advancement of students.
The institute's research and dialogue with educators will include instructional techniques and explore the health, physical, natural and social environmental conditions that affect students and their ability to learn effectively.
